Hot buttered surfboards are a brand of surfboards that was founded in 1971 by Terry Fitzgerald, a legendary Australian surfer and shaper. The brand became well-known for its innovative designs and high-quality craftsmanship, and quickly gained popularity among surfers all over the world.
Over the years, Hot buttered surfboards have been ridden by some of the world's best surfers, including Terry Fitzgerald himself, as well as Tom Carroll, Barton Lynch, and Damien Hardman. The brand has also sponsored numerous surf events and competitions, including the World Surfing Championships.
Of Hot Buttered's modern day shapes, the H-Bomb is by far the most popular. Its a rounded pin tail semi shortboard; lots of width in the centre of the board for stability yet a tapered nose and tail for manuverability and response. It's truly an easy shape to ride whether its your first board like a shortboard or you wants to add to your wave count.
The H-Bomb is a 5 fin FCS 2 set up - lock and load your favourite thruster or quad set. It as also equipped with the RM Flex Carbon tech that adds strength and torsion to the board; think tighter turns and durability.
