Its 88 mm waist provides quick edge-to-edge response and dependable grip on hard-packed snow and park features, while the directional twin-tip shape supports both confident downhill performance and switch skiing.

A poplar-and-ash wood core combines lively flex with the strength needed to handle repeated landings and heavier impacts. The carbon-rubber stomp pad beneath the binding helps absorb vibration and impact, creating a smoother and more controlled feel when landing jumps or skiing through firm, uneven snow.

Faction’s Elliptical Sidecut allows the ski to initiate carved turns easily while remaining straightforward to pivot, smear and release. A balanced freestyle flex provides enough support for stable take-offs and landings while retaining the playfulness needed for butters, presses and trick progression.

Full-strength sidewalls and XL 2.5 mm edges add durability for regular park use, making the Prodigy 1 a capable choice for skiers who divide their time between rails, jumps and fast laps on piste.

You’ll love this ski if…

You want a durable freestyle ski for park and piste

You value precise carving as well as easy pivoting and smearing

You regularly ski or land switch

You are developing butters, presses, spins and other freestyle skills

You want more support and park performance than the Prodigy 0
