What do I need for a trip to the snow?

For any skiing or snowboarding adventure, you’ll need to stay warm, dry and comfortable. Pack base layers, thermals, waterproof outerwear, gloves, goggles, and a helmet. Don’t forget snow boots or après boots for walking around the village.

What size snowboard should I ride?

As a general rule, a good starting point for snowboard sizing is to choose a board that comes up to somewhere between your chin and nose but several factors, including your weight, height, riding style, and skill level all play a part in determining the right board size.

If you are a beginner, you may want a shorter board that is easier to manoeuvre. If you plan on doing a lot of freeriding or backcountry riding, you may want a longer board for added stability and float.

What should I wear skiing or snowboarding?
