Panda Shiitake Twinzer Surfboard 6'4

The Panda Shiitake is a performance fish surfboard with a retro-inspired outline, strong paddle glide and a lively twinzer setup. This 6'4 model offers 35.4 litres of volume, making it a versatile option for surfers looking for speed, manoeuvrability and hold in better-quality waves.

The flatter nose helps provide glide when paddling, while the vee concave running out through the tail supports smooth rail-to-rail transitions and responsive turning. The Shiitake performs best in waves around shoulder high and above, where its twinzer design helps generate speed and drive without losing the loose, lively feel associated with twin fins.

The twinzer fin layout is similar to a traditional twin fin setup, with the addition of smaller leading side-bite fins positioned in front of the main fins and closer to the rail line. These smaller fins help break the water before it reaches the larger fins, giving the board a more responsive feel through tighter arcs. The Shiitake can also be configured with other fin layouts.

This board comes with glassed-in twinzer side bites. Panda recommends pairing it with the EN twin set from Futures, or the Rasta or Son of Cobra Upright twins, also from Futures.
