Softlite Chop Stick Softboard - 8'0

The Softlite Chop Stick 8'0 is a stable, easy-paddling softboard suited to beginners, surf schools and experienced surfers looking for a fun board for smaller days.

Its generous 70 L volume and mal-style shape provide plenty of stability and glide, while the 8'0 length also makes it suitable for traditional longboard-style surfing, including nose riding.

Built around a 100% waterproof moulded EPS core, the Chop Stick combines durability with a lightweight feel. Softlite’s moulding process helps create a consistent shape and a firmer outer EPS shell, while bamboo stringers reinforced with fibreglass sheeting and epoxy resin provide controlled flex and additional strength.

The board uses Softlite’s Bones and Shanks thruster fin system, with no deck screws for a cleaner surface underfoot. The fin boxes are also compatible with other dual-tab fin systems, allowing the setup to be changed to suit conditions or riding preference.
