Vans MTE UltraRange VR3 Shoe

The Vans MTE UltraRange VR3 is a lightweight, adventure-inspired shoe designed with lower-impact materials across the upper, midsole and outsole.

It features a breathable one-piece knit upper, a cushioned EVA midsole and a durable rubber outsole, with material choices that help the shoe meet Vans’ VR3 Checkerboard Globe criteria. To qualify for the VR3 designation, at least 30% of the product must be made from recycled, renewable and/or regenerative materials.

Materials & Construction

• Upper: One-piece knit construction made from 50% organic cotton, 34% polyester, 14% recycled hot melt and 2% spandex
• Midsole: Made with at least 50% bio-based EVA foam partially derived from plant-based sources, measured to ASTM D6866-16
• Outsole: Uses regeneratively grown natural rubber, accounting for 60% of the rubber compound
