MOOD BENDER SNOWBOARD
Elevate Your Ride, Elevate Your Mood.
Meet the Mood Bender, Amplid’s innovative replacement for the iconic Dada. Designed as the ideal backcountry and sidehit freestyle board, the Mood Bender is slightly narrower with an "almost true twin" shape, featuring a subtle taper for better float without losing switch performance. Its refined shape provides agility and control, perfect for seamless transitions between natural hits, powder lines, and technical terrain. This board doesn’t just perform; it elevates your mountain experience, bending your mood to new heights. Every turn and carve brings a surge of joy, like catching the perfect wave in an endless winter swell. With a balanced flex that combines stability and playfulness, the Mood Bender adapts to your style, ensuring every session leaves you feeling stoked and fulfilled.
Shape - Tapered Twin
Blends twin flex with a subtly tapered shape, narrowing slightly toward the tail. This geometry maintains freestyle playfulness while offering better float in deep snow. Ideal for backcountry freestyle and creative powder riding.
Camber - Cruise Camber
A half-fat camber for all-mountain dominance. Cruise Camber’s toned-down dimensions deliver a precise and lively feel, much like Pop Camber, but with much improved deep snow performance and a more “broken-in” feel out of the shrink-wrap. In Amplid’s directional snowboards a touch of early rise is added to Cruise Camber to improve buoyancy even further.
HEX02 - Swing weight, no thanks.
HEXO2 honeycomb inlays in the tip and tail cut unnecessary weight right where it matters most – reducing swing weight for faster spins, easier turn initiation, and a more agile ride when it gets tight.
The Almost Twin - Best of Both Directions
An almost twin shape brings together the best of both worlds: the extra float and drive of a tapered board, with a slightly narrower tail that sinks naturally in pow—and the balanced, predictable feel of a true twin when riding switch. Whether you're landing in deep snow or spinning off natural hits, it keeps your ride stable, playful, and effortless in both directions.
